SARS (South African Revenue Service) administers customs clearance through its online system. We provide accurate HS code classification and duty estimates as part of every landed cost quote.

NRCS Letters of Authority (LOA) — The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications requires a Letter of Authority for products covered by compulsory national standards, including electrical equipment, electronics, building materials, toys and many other categories. An LOA must be obtained before goods can legally be sold in South Africa. We identify LOA requirements during the sourcing stage and coordinate testing with NRCS-approved laboratories in China or South Africa.
