Import from China to Nigeria — Sourcing, SONCAP & DDP Delivery
Nigeria is China's largest trading partner in Africa, with bilateral trade exceeding $20 billion annually. Nigerian importers sourcing directly from Chinese factories face a specific set of challenges: SONCAP certification requirements, Apapa port congestion, complex customs procedures and the risk of dealing with unverified suppliers. Elite Global Trade manages the full process from Hong Kong — factory sourcing, quality control, SONCAP compliance and DDP delivery to Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt.

SONCAP managed in China before shipment. We work with Standards Organisation of Nigeria-approved certification bodies to obtain SONCAP certificates for regulated product categories before goods leave the factory.
Apapa congestion alternatives. We advise on port routing — including Tin Can Island and Lekki Deep Sea Port — to minimise demurrage and clearance delays.
Verified factories only. Every supplier we work with has been audited on-site. No trading companies posing as factories.
Naira volatility protection. We quote and invoice in USD with clear payment milestone schedules tied to production stages — protecting you from exchange rate exposure on large orders.
DDP to your warehouse. We deliver door-to-door to Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt and other Nigerian cities, coordinating with licensed Nigerian customs brokers.
What Nigeria Importers Source from China

SONCAP Explained
What is SONCAP and Do You Need It?
The Standards Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme (SONCAP) is a mandatory pre-export conformity assessment for regulated product categories imported into Nigeria. Products require a Product Certificate (PC) and a SONCAP Certificate (SC) before they can clear Nigerian customs. Categories requiring SONCAP include electronics, electrical equipment, toys, chemicals, construction materials and many consumer goods.
We manage SONCAP certification entirely in China — liaising with SON-approved Product Conformity Assessment Bodies (PCABs), arranging lab testing and obtaining the required certificates before shipment. This means your goods arrive with compliant documentation and clear customs without hold-ups.
